When you submit an appeal, you are required to upload photographs of your government-issued photo ID (front and back) and your parking citation (front and, if it contains text on the back, the back). These photographs are collected solely for the purpose of preparing and mailing your appeal packet via certified mail.
Encryption in transit. Your ID and citation photographs are encrypted in transit from your device to our servers using TLS 1.2 or higher. They may be stored briefly in encrypted cloud storage (for example Amazon S3) with access controls restricting access to authorized systems only.
Data minimization. We collect only the photographs required to prepare and mail your appeal. We do not use these photographs for advertising or sell them. They are shared only with our printing and mailing provider (Lob.com) for the sole purpose of producing your appeal documents.
Automatic deletion. Your ID and citation photographs are deleted from our storage shortly after they are transmitted to our printing and mailing partner for inclusion in your packet. They are not kept for marketing or analytics. Optional evidence photos you upload are retained only as described below.
